Our mission
Billions of dollars flow through crowdfunding every year, yet social impact projects compete for attention with consumer products and celebrity ventures. Grassroots changemakers — teachers, nurses, community organizers, environmental stewards — deserve a home of their own.
We built socialchange.tech as that home. Every campaign here is reviewed by a human before launch, aligned with at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal, and required to publish a transparent budget showing exactly how funds will be used.
Backers choose how to give: Keep-What-You-Raise campaigns receive every contribution as it arrives, while All-or-Nothing campaigns only collect pledges if the full goal is reached — so ambitious projects carry no risk for supporters.

How we sustain ourselves
We charge a simple, transparent 5% platform fee on successfully raised funds — nothing more. This covers payment processing infrastructure, campaign review, fraud prevention and the day-to-day running of the platform. If a campaign raises nothing, it pays nothing.
